Our brand speaks to those who love a variety of basic clothing items to fill their closet. With a hint of adventure, we also try to create meaningful and fun elements to keep things interesting. Think of a Karoo holiday: the to-dos are limited, but the views and scenery are spectacular, not to mention the Karoo people and their stories. Deborah Jansen aspires to bring to life good clothing items that are comfortable and cool.
A bit more about what happens behind the scenes: for now, I’m solo and sewing your garments in a tiny studio called my garage. Whenever I need extra assistance, I love to source locally and collaborate with other seamstresses. Most clothing items are made to order and very exclusive when it comes to certain fabric options. This is what makes it all so wonderful, knowing that the items you buy have been carefully put together, making them much more meaningful.
